Comment:
I have had such a blessed life! After High school and college , six worthless marriage proposals, and several years of finding myself, I married my prince , a son of a lawman in Hill County , he had country charm and very interesting history and family code of  honor for my future children. He came with two sons whom I raised along with our two, Bonnie and Wesley. Wes  is with the Arlington police department with goals of being a paramedic with the fire dept. Bonnie is the mother of my only grandchild, Payton. Payton is somewhat unusual, as he was born understanding English. Very weird when you experience a baby who knows what you are sayaing at one week of age. by 11 months he told his first knock-knock joke, and we still don't know if he heard it somewhere or made it up himself. Life is good but unpredictable. At the present Payton is running about 95% correct on his future events predictiions, which come usually two or three times a month. HE tells what is going to happen and I can't even remember what already happened!  Payton watches CNN and then wants to disscuss what he saw. He is all of 2 1/2 years old now !! His Mommie also is a wedding planner and photographer  who has been published in several magazines. .My godly children are what I have accomplishedin the last 45 years I  give the credit to the Lord. They dont mind me, but They and Larry are my best friends.

Comment:
I married my college sweetheart from Tarleton and we have two children and four grandchildren. My daughter is an attorney with the Texas GLO in Austin. My son lives in California and completed his PhD in ethnomusicology at UCLA. My husband, Tom, is a retired Army officer and we spent 20 years on the move living in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Germany, and Italy. I worked a variety of jobs as we traveled, but primarily worked as a newspaper reporter and as an adjunct instructor teaching classes in communications.  I did have a brief stint teaching high school classes in the Department of Defense Schools in Germany where -- surprise, surprise -- I was the yearbook advisor!

During Tom's last military assignment at Fort Sill, OK, I started working at Cameron University as an instructor and eventually became an administrator working in Admissions and Advisement before becoming the director of Career Planning, Placement, and Testing.  Also did a fair amount of grant writing for the federally funded programs (SSS and McNair) that I directed until my retirement.  Spent a couple of summers as an instructor for the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education Summer Grant Writing Institute.

I retired from CU fall 2007 and my husband  retired in 2010 from his job with the City of Lawton soon and we spend time  doing all the fun stuff that retirees love to do: hobbies, traveling, and spending time with family.

Comment:
The Lord has blessed my wonderful wife Donna and I with 41 years together.  We have two sons and daughters-in-law and five grandchildren.  Much of my professional life has been in aviation, flying in the US Navy and Air Force Reserves and as a flight instructor and corporate pilot.  I moved over to aviation education and airport management in 1991.  In 1997 the Lord called Donna and me into full-time missionary service as the President/CEO of Mission Aviation Fellowship,  we then moved into Bible Translation work and now we lead a missionary effort (World Missions Far Corners) to care for people trapped in desperate human suffering and spiritual darkness.  The ministry was headquarterd in Southern CA for 51 years and we moved the headquarters to Fort Worth in March of this year.
Brushes with Greatness:
As Executive Director of Pittsburgh International Airport I greeted Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton as Air Force One arrived. I was privileged to spend time with Gen. Chuck Yeager the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound.
